A LESSON LEARNED

This spring a friend was driving to the Kentucky Derby with other friends when they encountered a construction site. It appeared that the delay would cause them to be late for an engagement with friends so they looked for an alternate route. Their computer generated directions proved to be of little help so they took out the GPS unit and turned it on.

GPS took over and guided them to the only alternative route around the construction site. By the way, the route was a long narrow road which looked like a major dead end, but finally brought them out on a through highway.

Needless to say, they were delighted to be on time and will never leave the GPS turned off again.

Is there a lesson here?
